As houseboat owners, we chose to get out of our convenience zone and lease a houseboat from State Dock Marina on a various lake to experience an entire brand-new level of houseboat life. And let us inform you, it was definitely extraordinary!
Lake Cumberland showed to be the ideal play area for travelling on a houseboat. Its large size provides limitless possibilities for expedition, relaxation, and experience.
Throughout our journey, we experienced spectacular waterfalls cascading the lavish green cliffs, producing an attractive background for our houseboat journey. We could not withstand the temptation to start some awesome walkings, immersing ourselves in the charm of the surrounding nature.
Naturally, fishing was a must-do activity, and Lake Cumberland did not dissatisfy. We invested hours casting our lines, excitedly waiting on that ideal catch. The enjoyment of attracting a huge one was really thrilling!
As the sun set over the lake, we collected on the leading deck around the comfortable fire pit. The crackling of the fire, the twinkling stars above, and our laughter developed a charming environment that will permanently be engraved in our memories.
We wish to provide an unique thanks to our good friends at State Dock Marina for making this extraordinary journey possible. Their big houseboat rental fleet offered us with a large and elegant houseboat that rapidly became our house far from house.
