This specific tranquil dawn on the lake was back in early July on July fourth weekend, when the Georgia summer season was beginning to warm up in the early mornings. We were so fortunate to capture this fairy floss dawn prior to fourth of July weekend celebrations started to provide us time to stop briefly, show, and delight in the easy satisfaction of residing on our houseboat on Lake Lanier. Enjoying this dawn once again makes us feel sentimental for those carefree summer season days as we bid farewell to the authorities “summer season houseboating season” in Georgia after Labor Day weekend and head into the fall.
